Rongxing Electrode Paste Science 7

Rongxing electrode paste engineers, while consistently providing high-quality service to customers over the years, have accumulated extensive experience. In addition to various quality issues with electrode paste and problems arising from improper handling during use, another increasingly common issue in recent times is packaging. Over the past two years, customer complaints related to packaging have accounted for 15% of all feedback, primarily due to damaged packaging or electrode paste melting and deforming during transportation.

Electrode Paste Packaging Improvement

The current packaging concerns mainly involve block-shaped electrode paste. Since cylindrical electrode paste is typically packed on pallets and transported in containers, packaging-related issues are extremely rare. However, block-shaped electrode paste is commonly packaged in bulk bags (ton bags), and the quality of these bags directly affects overall packaging performance. Therefore, Rongxing's engineers have been continuously communicating with ton bag suppliers to improve design and enhance customer experience.

For example, customers requested that both the top and bottom of the ton bags be open to facilitate easier loading into furnaces. Others asked for increased bag thickness to reduce breakage rates, or requested extra ton bags to be included with each shipment so that docks could promptly replace damaged ones. As a result, Rongxing has evolved its packaging to feature double-layered construction with inner liners, thicker materials, and openings at both ends—significantly reducing damage rates. Although this increases packaging costs, customer satisfaction has improved substantially. For Rongxing, customer needs always come first—this principle is unquestionable.

Electrode Paste Storage and Melting Prevention

Regarding the issue of electrode paste melting and deformation, this typically occurs in summer due to improper storage. As widely known, electrode paste has a melting point between 80 and 90 degrees Celsius. During extreme heatwaves, ground surface temperatures can easily reach this range. If electrode paste is stored in poorly ventilated warehouses—such as metal sheet warehouses without insulation—or left exposed to direct sunlight in outdoor yards, it becomes highly susceptible to melting and clumping. This often requires breaking up the paste before use. Therefore, we recommend that customers carefully consider temperature conditions when storing electrode paste and take appropriate measures to ensure proper storage, avoiding operational difficulties.
