Based on our experience, bottom carbon buildup in Middle East furnaces is mostly caused by insufficient reducing-agent activity. To solve it fundamentally, reduce raw coal and coke usage while increasing semi-coke usage. High-current and low-voltage operation can temporarily reduce carbon buildup.
