As we move into January 2026, the first-quarter procurement plans for various factories, including new plans for electrode paste, are being finalized. We have recently received inquiries from both new and existing clients. Due to recent increases in raw material costs, the market price for electrode paste has risen by approximately 150 RMB per ton compared to last month. With the Chinese New Year just 40 days away, our electrode paste factory's production schedule is already fully booked, signaling a positive start to the year 2026 .

We were particularly pleased when our longstanding Vietnamese client, General Manager Wang, after discussing the current electrode paste prices, introduced us to his friend, General Manager An. This gesture is a strong endorsement of their recognition of our product quality and service. General Manager An's company operates a plant in Angola with 14 submerged arc furnaces for producing metallic silicon. As part of a strategic adjustment, seven of these furnaces are being converted from metallic silicon to ferrosilicon production. Consequently, the operation will switch from using carbon electrodes to employing electrode paste. After receiving the detailed specifications of General Manager An's furnaces, our production team formulated a proposed set of technical indicators for the electrode paste. The client is currently evaluating these specifications, which are critical for stable production, as improper indicators can lead to serious issues like electrode hard breaks or soft breaks .

The conversion from metallic silicon to ferrosilicon production appears to be a developing trend. For instance, we have also recently received inquiries about electrode paste from a metallic silicon client in the Middle East. With years of specialized experience in electrode paste production, our factory is well-positioned to provide professional technical support.
