Rigorous Particle Size Grading

The strength, electrical conductivity, and oxidation resistance of electrode paste largely depend on the particle size distribution of its aggregates. High-quality electrode paste employs a multi-stage grading system, where raw materials are crushed and screened into several fractions:

Precise Kneading and Forming Process

The proportioned dry aggregates are thoroughly mixed with heated, molten coal tar pitch binder in a kneading pan. The kneading temperature must exceed the softening point of the binder by at least 70°C.
